You may now access and use our site by going to <a class=\\\\"user_link\\\\" href=\\\\"https://lovinity.org\\\\" rel=\\\\"\\\\" target=\\\\"_top\\\\">https://lovinity.org . Be sure to stop by and check us out.\\\\n
What is new about The Lovinity Community+?
\\\\nThe biggest change since the old Lovinity Community back in 2015 is that we are now running on the latest version of Composr CMS (formally ocPortal)… version 10. With it comes some new features, such as website notifications and a new website menu structure. It also has some other new features as well as changes in user interface. \\\\n \\\\nAnother big addition to The Lovinity Community+ includes the focus on activism causes and movements in addition to being a community of advice and wisdom. We have a new forum structure which includes forums both for giving advice/wisdom on life topics (just like with the old Lovinity Community) as well as forums for talking about different forms of activism and (in)justice. \\\\n \\\\nWe also have made some revisions to our rules. The biggest revision is the new Safe Space policy. We now aim to be a website that is fully inclusive of all individuals no matter thair sexual orientation, race, religion, gender, and so on. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, and sharing of private information publicly will not be tolerated.\\\\n
What did we lose from the old Lovinity Community?
\\\\nObviously, we unfortunately lost all accounts and content from the old website. Reason being is because a server and backup corruption resulted in the loss of over half the data. We had another backup, but it was old and therefore could not reliably be recovered with the rest of what we had left. So we decided instead if trying to recover all that and get it to run on the new Composr CMS, we would start over from scratch. \\\\n \\\\nWe also lost Arrowchat. The one-year license had expired. Although we could have decided to continue using Arrowchat (without updates), we decided not to, at least for now, because Composr CMS has a Chat and IM system built in. In addition, having Arrowchat may suck up server resources. \\\\n \\\\nAnd finally, we currently do not have a powerful server. Lovinity.org runs on a VPS with only 1GB RAM and 1 CPU. This should be fine as we start out, but upgrading will likely be necessary when/if we get more users. So if you find yourself enjoying The Lovinity Community+, please be sure to consider donating.\\\\n
What should you know before starting to use our new site?
\\\\nFirst off, our website is still in BETA. You are likely to run into a bug or two. Please report all bugs to us by filing a support ticket at About -> support tickets , or by emailing support @ lovinity.org . \\\\n \\\\nSecondly, if you created an account on our website before we opened up, you may want to re-read our rules as we made some tweaks. In addition, we have two new profile fields… gender identity and preferred pronouns. \\\\n \\\\nThird, our website is subject to some minor changes here and there throughout the BETA period. Consider this a public test run, where we would love to hear feedback from all of you on our site and where we tweak things until we have a site most everyone can enjoy. Please provide your feedback in a support ticket. \\\\n \\\\nFinally, not all features we want for the website are installed / enabled yet. These will be enabled over time. The biggest hold back for these few features we have not yet incorporated is simply the fact we are still in beta. \\\\n \\\\n
\\\\nThank you for reading and enjoy The Lovinity Community+! \\\\n \\\\n \\\\n
<span style=\\\\" font-size: 0.8em;\\\\"> \\\\n ', 1, '[email protected]', 'Lovinity', '[email protected]', 'The Lovinity Community+ (BETA)', 3, 'MAIL')\",\"Field 'd_message__text_parsed' doesn't have a default value\"));"; ),[seq_parts] => Array ([0] => Array ([0] => Array ([0] => do_runtime_56dbd7cb737872.12137443_5,[1] => Array (),[2] => 2,[3] => QUERY_FAILED,[4] => ))),[preprocessable_bits] => Array (),[pure_lang] => 1,[evaluate_echo_offset_group] => 0,[evaluate_echo_offset_inner] => 0,[codename] => :container,[preprocessed] => ,[cached_output] => Unfortunately a query has failed [INSERT INTO cms_newsletter_drip_send (d_inject_time, d_subject, d_message, d_html_only, d_to_email, d_to_name, d_from_email, d_from_name, d_priority, d_template) VALUES (1457248204, 'The Lovinity Community+ (BETA) is open!', '\n\n\n\n
\n The Lovinity Community+ (BETA) is open!\n\n \n
\n\n\n\nGreetings everyone, \n \nI&39;m pleased to announce that the Lovinity Community+ (BETA) website is now open to the public! In addition, having Arrowchat may suck up server resources. And finally, we currently do not have a powerful server. Lovinity.org runs on a VPS with only 1GB RAM and 1 CPU. This should be fine as we start out, but upgrading will likely be necessary when/if we get more users. So if you find yourself enjoying The Lovinity Community+, please be sure to consider donating.
What should you know before starting to use our new site?
First off, our website is still in BETA. You are likely to run into a bug or two. Please report all bugs to us by filing a support ticket at About -> support tickets , or by emailing support @ lovinity.org . Secondly, if you created an account on our website before we opened up, you may want to re-read our rules as we made some tweaks. In addition, we have two new profile fields… gender identity and preferred pronouns. Third, our website is subject to some minor changes here and there throughout the BETA period. Consider this a public test run, where we would love to hear feedback from all of you on our site and where we tweak things until we have a site most everyone can enjoy. Please provide your feedback in a support ticket. Finally, not all features we want for the website are installed / enabled yet. These will be enabled over time. The biggest hold back for these few features we have not yet incorporated is simply the fact we are still in beta.
Thank you for reading and enjoy The Lovinity Community+!
,[d_html_only] => 1,[d_to_email] => [email protected],[d_to_name] => Lovinity,[d_from_email] => [email protected],[d_from_name] => The Lovinity Community+ (BETA),[d_priority] => 3,[d_template] => MAIL)) called at [/home/admin/web/lovinity.org/public_html/sources/hooks/systems/tasks/send_newsletter.php:113] 5 Hook_task_send_newsletter->run([semihtml][title]The Lovinity Community+ (BETA) is open![/title] Greetings everyone, I'm pleased to announce that the Lovinity Community+ (BETA) website is now open to the public! You may now access and use our site by going to https://lovinity.org . Be sure to stop by and check us out.
What is new about The Lovinity Community+?
The biggest change since the old Lovinity Community back in 2015 is that we are now running on the latest version of Composr CMS (formally ocPortal)... version 10. With it comes some new features, such as website notifications and a new website menu structure. It also has some other new features as well as changes in user interface. Another big addition to The Lovinity Community+ includes the focus on activism causes and movements in addition to being a community of advice and wisdom. We have a new forum structure which includes forums both for giving advice/wisdom on life topics (just like with the old Lovinity Community) as well as forums for talking about different forms of activism and (in)justice. We also have made some revisions to our rules. The biggest revision is the new Safe Space policy. We now aim to be a website that is fully inclusive of all individuals no matter thair sexual orientation, race, religion, gender, and so on. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, and sharing of private information publicly will not be tolerated.
What did we lose from the old Lovinity Community?
Obviously, we unfortunately lost all accounts and content from the old website. Reason being is because a server and backup corruption resulted in the loss of over half the data. We had another backup, but it was old and therefore could not reliably be recovered with the rest of what we had left. So we decided instead if trying to recover all that and get it to run on the new Composr CMS, we would start over from scratch. We also lost Arrowchat. The one-year license had expired.
