Summary | 1357: Friend adds don't display well on the activity feed
Description | It displays an erroneous activity, and needs some work to make it clear what has happened from the perspective of both members. (This fix cannot fix existing activity data, a new friend-add would need to be done to see the change working in full)

Fixed in git commit ba5c550 (https://github.com/chrisgraham/Composr/commit/ba5c550 - link will become active once code pushed) A hotfix (a TAR of files to upload) have been uploaded to this issue. These files are made to the latest intra-version state (i.e. may roll in earlier fixes too if made to the same files) - so only upload files newer than what you have already. Always take backups of files you are replacing or keep a copy of the manual installer for your version, and only apply fixes you need. These hotfixes are not necessarily reliable or well supported. Not sure how to extract TAR files to your Windows computer? Try 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). |

Thank Chris, but unfortunately I've never done anything like this with my site before and I'd hate to screw it up. I have over 2 years in developing my site and have messed it up a couple of times which turned out to be mild nightmares. Can you possibly walk me through it step by step so I can avoid making any mistakes? Mike |
