Summary | 1249: Bug in Gallery image assignment if you use the bulk photo upload screen
Description | Hello, I have the Galleries (which I renamed as Albums) set up to be divided into Photos and Video/Audio. So, 'Albums' is the root level, then you have 'Photos' level, and 'Video/Audio' level. I edited their settings so that you can't assign anything to those levels; you're forced to drill in and add to one of the containers within them. These settings are respected if you use the screen for adding a single image. However I noticed some users were still able to assign photos to the root 'Albums' level. I found out that if you use the bulk photo upload screen, the system isn't respecting the gallery settings; it lets you select 'Albums' or either of the other two main containers.

It's actually deliberate to not enforce the accept settings on here, as mass-adding is considered a fairly privileged activity, and it'd be a pain in some situations to have some of the mass-added media filtered out. That said, if a gallery allows neither images or videos, we will now not allow mass-adding to it. |
