Hmm, I read a tutorial the other day and I'm pretty sure I enabled something. If you look at the image, there is a drop down menu with all the languages in it. I haven't added that by hand. When you select one then the bit above appears.
Okay, I did read a tutorial but you're right. It's not a Composr feature, but the option was mentioned in the tutorial as being a different way to approach it. Just looked at HTML_HEAD.tpl and there is some Google Translate code there I must have added. My bad, but any idea why it's showing two inboxes for any language other than English?
Google will be making some assumptions, very likely they're not even maintaining their code as they have a tendency to drop stuff as Googlers lose interest. Especially now that Google Chrome has a native translate built-in not using that, they've probably just decided that's the future.
Yeah that's why I wanted to add it, some browsers don't and I think it's a simple and effective way to at least let anyone in the world read your content. Just can't understand why I'm getting two inbox icons. The footer layout is cos of the languages taking up more space then English, and I assume the placeholder text isn't translatable by default, but the inbox thing is kinda strange. Nothing else gets duplicated.
No problem if you haven't got time to consider this, but upon closer inspection the first inbox icon has the original english text when hovered and the second inbox icon when hovered has the translated text. So although they are duplicated, they are different.
