I think you're saying the day of the week the birth happened on. I don't agree with that, I think it'd confuse people. Or maybe you mean the day of the next birthday, in which case we'd need to change the label to 'Birthday' instead. For that reason I'd rather avoid it as having the labels switch around starts introducing assumptions (e.g. a business site may not consider showing a birthday an equivalent to showing an abbreviated date of birth).
As a compromise I'll pass in {_DOB} and {_DOB_CENSORED} parameters. _DOB_CENSORED will take the reveal age restriction into account, so may be for the current year instead of birth year. You'll be able to do {$FROM_TIMESTAMP*,D,{_DOB_CENSORED}}
URL shortener:
That is really cool, want to release it? Forum would be the right place to discuss though, not tacked onto an unrelated private tracker issue :P.
Yeah I meant like displaying Tuesday 19th February rather than just 19th February. I appreciate the compromise but it's not what I wanted, certainly could be useful though.
I do plan to release the URL shortener but I wanted your approval of the idea first :)
