I'll have to look into this. v11 has changed the meaning of predefined content.
I think predefined content is a core feature; you cannot turn it off / remove it (unlike test content). Predefined content is meant to populate something with default data so you can use it (e.g. default categories for the calendar). Test content, however, is not necessary for a feature to work and is meant just to see it in action. And it uses dummy Lorem data instead of reasonable defaults.
Yes, I can't see many people wanting to use default data that they will likely then need to delete/undo, unless they are just testing the CMS. Hopefully I never accidentally click on these menu items when running a live site.
EDIT: I wrongly assumed this would add example content, but there is a seperate option which does that.
A lot of this predefined content is just config options and things you can edit elsewhere (swear filter, news categories). Wouldn't this be better in the Setup Wizard?
I don't see the point of it, especially if these options are in the Setup Wizard and likely also Config options. That's why I assumed it was for Demonstratr. Shame it cannot be removed easily.
You need to click the Proceed button, so that's a relief.
I think I get it now, though it would make more sense to be called Predefined settings as this seems to be a set of handy shortcuts to settings which are relative to each feature. I don't think any of these settings include or relate to content (unless I missed something).

And if you click install predefined content, then in theory it should ask you to confirm. Please report if it does not.
Yeah, those results don't look helpful. I'll see what can be done to improve them.
