Try moving it to images/logo and then clearing your template cache and theme image cache. Let me know if that resolves the issue. If so, I'll make sure to move it in the v10 code.

Seems to have done the trick, the only 404 error now is from 127.0.0.1 on a live server when hitting the start page at root.
My best guess is that your web host has some weird thing going on where it's modifying PHP environment variables causing Composr to incorrectly put together file paths in some cases, thus it cannot find the image.
I'm currently marking this as not fixable as this is a problem on the web host end. I have the same issue on a v11 front. If I do implement a fix (which I probably will once I figure out exactly what's happening), it will be in v11 and not v10 since it takes so much time to debug it.
