The license is GPL. That would mean the whole of Composr would need to be relicensed as GPL, as GPL is a viral license. A library like this would usually be LGPL (or BSD/Mozilla). LGPL allows a project to itself be protected from commercial exploitation, without it being viral over the project using it.
We do not use GPL as we have an attribution clause in the licensing. This was important to me, as I didn't want someone to come along and take the project and turn it into something else without credit. Wordpress, Joomla, and Drupal all are other projects originally, but very few people know that.
