I lean to killing all X integration outside HybridAuth, preferencing something open like Mastodon.

It's difficult, as Twitter has been so fundamental, and invented the category - but has turned into a complete hellhole.
Many people boycott Twitter, many still use it professionally, and many people use it because they love being in a hellhole.
I agree, aside from leaving the share link (although perhaps just leaving it as Twitter until and unless Hybridauth decides to start calling it X... honestly a lot of people still call it Twitter so I see no personal harm in it except maybe Elon getting mad at us, haha).
We're not going to proceed with this one. We don't have the developer resources to spend re-branding the whole code base just because a billionaire wants us to call the platform he bought something else.
