Our new addon build system automatically helps putting notes into the addon directory when the addons are updated. People can set up monitors on the comment topics for those fairly easily, or just notice on the forum, or just check when doing a major upgrade. As non-bundled addons aren't really our focus we don't need to do much special - people don't have lots like they do in other software.
