Actually, they are returning the local time of the member.

Ok, that's quite a fail. Fixing the relative dates to be cache safe, I accidentally made it always show the current date. Easy to miss when testing, as I was testing against some news I just added!

It's not updated on the site yet, but the change will flow through in the next update.
