Turn off HTML to Comcode conversion in the configuration.

Just a note that I turned off "Convert XHTML to Comcode" and this still occurs.

If you are not an admin, you also need the "Subject to a more liberal HTML filter" privilege.

Additionally there could be other mitigating factors. If it is not caused by the privilege, please grab the HTML source from the WYSIWYG editor, paste it into a .txt file, and attach to this issue.
