Error in Step 10 of Composr setup wizard

In Step 10 (the final step) of the Composr setup wizard I'm getting the following error:

PHP ERROR [1] Call to undefined function delete_news_category() in adminzone/pages/modules/admin_setupwizard.php(1038) : eval()'d code on line 46

I openly admit, I am not a programming genius. I tried looking at _config.php and admin_setupwizard.php to see if I could figure out the problem, but I was not successful.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

There is also an error on the homepage of my site that reads:

Critical error – bailing out

Programming error: Integers and/or floats should not be passed into templates (B_TYPE): convert them to strings via integer_format/float_format/strval.

Details here are intended only for the website/system-administrator, not for regular website users.
» If you are a regular website user, please let the website staff deal with this problem.

Depending on the error, and only if the website installation finished, you may need to edit the installation options (the _config.php file).

ocProducts maintains full documentation for all procedures and tools. These may be found on the Composr website. If you are unable to easily solve this problem, we may be contacted from our website and can help resolve it for you.

Hi Paraz1t. You are not being ignored. The developer, Chris Graham, is away on business this week (making money so he can keep this CMS free :) ). Read his post here.

Hmm, did not get that one. I was stopped at step #4 with Beta1. All steps went through with Beta 2. No issues at present.

Yeah, my install went through without any issues either.

The Setup Wizard is optional, you can dismiss it and proceed to make the same changes manually.

Thanks for providing that link, sholzy, so everyone understands Chris' constraints while he's traveling. Just wanted to share my particular scenario to help with beta testing. I'm really in love with this CMS. I was using Drupal before and it had me wanting to drink bleach.

Yes, I understand that the setup wizard it optionally. Eventually I simply passed to the site and adjusted it in the manual. But after all there is a wish that everything would work just because this CMS very much is pleasant to me. Or I am not right ;)

Everything will work once Composr is out of Beta, we all have the same wish :) I was just suggesting that people skip using the Setup Wizard until the outstanding bugs are rectified (which I assume will be Beta3).

I think people are forgetting this is a beta release to work out as many bugs as we can find. Multiple install attempts might be needed to get to the point of a working install.

Suggesting to skip the setup wizard might not be a good thing. If everyone starts bypassing the wizard, any unfound bugs will remain hidden until the next beta release.

I would suggest bypassing the wizard on a second install attempt and report the error (if it hasn't already been reported), and add new info to the report if needed.

Just my 2 cents worth.   ;)

There have been several errors regarding the Setup Wizard reported for Beta2 and I honestly don't envision that there will be any new errors (for those who have reported errors already). Skipping it doesn't do anything except avoid the already reported errors. You can run the Setup Wizard at any time. I agree though that people testing for the first time shouldn't skip it, I was aiming my comment at those who already know about the bugs and want to move onto testing out other areas by highlighting the fact that is an optional part of the install process. I could have and should have made that clearer :)
