Excuse me, I'm sure this has been answered over on ocportal, but didn't find it in the search. When creating calendar and news event and category types can I use jpg and gif images or do I need to convert them to png? Also, what is the recommended dimensions? I see the provided calendar images are 28x28 while the news images are 100x100. Do I need to stay within a particular range, or do they need to be exact to keep from overflowing, for the lack of a better term, the defined css classes?

WHAT!! you mean we finally a bug!! this is great news :D , so mr Chris come explain yourself, what are bugs doing in the calendar?

I hadnt got around to the calendar before now Chip, so your ahead of me :D .

My icons show in the panel but you get an error if you try and use them, i take it that is what you get as well? I tried jpg and png at different sizes, including 28 x 28.

Hi guys,

I can confirm a bug previewing when adding/editing event types. This will be fixed soon. You can still add/edit event types though skipping the Preview button.

As for the initial question:
I do highly recommend keeping to the original size. It won't put a limit on the size or force a size, it'll just overflow out of the space in the default design. We don't lock these things down as we assume users may want to make radical templating changes, but you probably don't want to do that.
