Chat Question

Hey everyone!  Some friends and I have been using Compo.sr for a few months now for an forum/chat based rp site.  The one thing we're seeing issues with, and it's not really bad issues, it's more an irritant is that every few minutes we get system notifications like this one even though we're all still in the chat:  
 

KatiaNox has left the chatroom.

Is there a way to fix this?  It's not an issue persay, but it makes editting the chat logs a bit of a pain.

Even with this, Compo.sr has been the best content managment system we've tried for what we're using it for, so thank you devs for a great CMS.

Hi Katia,

These issues can be very difficult to debug. I'll see if I can create some better logging in the browser's JavaScript console, then whoever incorrect was said to have 'left' can provide a lot for us to check against.
I'm very busy at the moment though so it may be a few weeks.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.  Take your time, it's definitely not a deal breaker issue, like I said, more of an irritant.  I do appreciate your help in getting it fixed though   Thank you so much!

The next patch release will have console logging as shown which will greatly help in debugging:


This is via a change to themes/default/javascript/chat.js which can be found here:

Please include the full console log in a future bug report so I can get a better idea what's going on here.
