| Description | I tried to edit a Wiki page at work today where we get to use IE 8 as the corporate standard, and I noticed that some of the controls for the CK Editor were not working. The main one I noticed was that I could not assign a text type (Header 1, Header 2, etc) to a bit of text. The page was showing a notice of a javascript error at the bottom of the browser window.
I'm only reporting this because I thought IE 8 is still supposed to be among the supported browsers. But I never use it at home, so I wouldn't have seen this otherwise. |

Bugs in CKEditor stop it running reliably. We need to update CKEditor.
Also we need to write a Linux shell script people can run if they want to update CKEditor themselves, and that we can run to keep it up-to-date more easily in the future.
