| Description | After a bit of messing around trying to get the form emails to arrive in my inbox, I installed BetterMail which fixed some numbered errors. When I fill the form in, and the captcha, Composr insists everything went fine but the email never arrives. I don't want to waste anyone's time looking into this as it could be an issue with my hosting setup (it's unique to say least, stackcp). I just wondered if the block and related code is working as intended. |
| Steps to reproduce | 1) Enabled SMTP setting and filled in all input boxes correctly but got some numbered errors back from server when sending form 2) Installed Bettermail 3) Filled catalogue form in as a Guest and submitted without error (that I know of) 4) Great success according to Composr 5) No email arrives |
| Additional information | You can launch a demo of my CP from the following link > https://www.stackcp.com/login/demo
I am including this demo link as my CP could be the cause of many of the weird issues and quirks I seem to get a lot. I've disabled the CDN features it has as Composr didn't like some of them (not sure which exactly). It also insists on non-standard chmod settings which are more secure (and I am not sure if Composr applies these, and the file permissions checker in the CP changes them, which Composr may or may not like). |

EDIT: As for the no email issue, I'll have to look into that. Composr shouldn't give a success message if the CAPTCHA was wrong, so there seems to be a secondary bug at play. Do you see an email logged in the Composr email log?
Yes, it appears to be an issue with your host. I was not able to reproduce it; it worked fine on two separate server environments of mine.
Note that I did not try what you specified in Steps to Reproduce (did not use SMTP, Bettermail, etc). But it worked fine with the local email server.
Please let me know the specific errors you are encountering and what settings you are applying for each of those error conditions (minus credentials, of course).
