| Description | In addition to the permission settings on content on a per-usergroup basis, add the ability to set content permissions for the content owner... the one who created the content (also allow for the ability for admins to edit the owner of content where possible). And the permissions of content owner take priority over the usergroup-based permissions.
This kind of set-up would be very useful if, say, you create a section of the website to be managed by one of your members and not staff. For example, you create a section / zone on business management, and the username CEO is the one who will be making blogs, adding images to those galleries, and etc. You can set the permissions of the pages, blog categories, and galleries so that the content owner is CEO and that CEO has permission to add to and edit those contents, but other regular users cannot. |
