| Description | There are a couple of performance issues... 1) The HTML to Comcode conversion has scope for significant optimisation 2) The HTML to Comcode conversion is itself wasteful. It happens due to using the page text as the OpenGraph description for the page (converting to Comcode is an intermediate step to converting to plain text) -- but for really long pages we should just use the meta description instead. |
